Protection and control function:
(1) built -in pre -charging circuit: the input side have built-in pre charging circuit, input shock current is small.
(2) key switch control: the converter provides 12V key switch control interface, don’t need external relay, the circuit is simple and reliable, it can save cost.
(3) input reverse protection: the positive and negative of the input line are connected in reverse, the DC-DC does not start and will not be damaged.
(4) input undervoltage protection: the input voltage of the converter is too low, it will stop the output, to avoid the battery of the input terminal over discharge.
(5) input overvoltage protection: when DC-DC input voltage is too high, it will stop output and avoid the converter damage.
(6) Output short circuit protection: When the DC-DC output short circuit, it will stop working, short circuit disappears, it automatically restored, so as to ensure the safety of vehicle wiring harness.
(7) Output current limit protection: When the output load of the Converter is too large, it will automatically limit the output current, the output current will no longer increase, so as to ensure vehicle harness security.
(8) Output overvoltage protection: DC-DC output voltage is too high, it will stop working, overvoltage disappears, it automatically restored
(9) output undervoltage protection: when the DC-DC output voltage is too low, it will stop working, when the undervoltage disappears, it automatically restores.
(10) overheat protection: the DC-DC converter automatically attenuates the output power after overheating, not to stop the output, so as to ensure the continuity of the power supply of the vehicle.
(11) CAN communication function: DC-DC converter can report its working status information and fault alarm information through CAN communication. (it is optional, customized function according to customer’s communication protocol)
